We are a salon and spa looking for a stylist to join our team. The perfect candidate would be a professional, energetic, personable, drama-free person, who can learn to do things differently than they have at other salons. If you want to work as a stylist and an assistant for a time, that could work as well for the right person. Knowing how to do make-up is a plus. Some stylists are looking to cut down on hours and so will be looking to send clients your way. If you can not or do not want to learn to do things differently, this is not the place for you. We work together as a team and help each other to promote the salon and make a good working environment.

Job Details:

Reimbursement is hourly plus tips or commission on services and retail plus tips, whichever is greater.
If you are not busy, you will be expected to help other stylists, if they ask, or see things that may need to be done in the salon like laundry, sweeping, dusting, etc.
Perform Stress relieving rituals on your clients or others shampoo clients as a point of difference until you are consistently busy.
Be available to work on some Saturdays.
Be able to complete tasks within a certain time frame.
Learn the products and how to use them on clients.
Be able to market yourself to be fairly busy by 6 months.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time.

Pay: $13.00 per hour plus tips as long as it is minimum wage or commission plus tips whichever is greater.
